Family Volunteering Club July 2026

Join The Family Volunteering Club in our Wild Garden, to help look after the garden in high summer!

Families will save poppy seeds, water and feed plants, and gently release tadpoles and baby froglets into the big pond.

By helping with these essential summer tasks, your family is directly supporting the health of this beautiful urban garden. Releasing tadpoles into the pond helps sustain the garden's amphibian population; saving seeds ensures future blooms; and watering keeps the plants thriving through the heat. Every task contributes to a garden that provides a haven for wildlife and a sanctuary for vulnerable people.

"If children don't grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it. And if they don't understand it, they won't protect it. And if they don't protect it, who will?"
