Family Volunteering Club making warm winter bug homes at Roots and Shoots
Family Volunteering Club returns to Roots and Shoots for a lovely morning of nature-based activities for young children and their families.
In this session, we will be collecting natural materials from the Wild Garden to make warm winter homes for all the different types of bees and insects that live here, helping our bugs be as snug as they can! While helping the insects, they'll also be playing some games, singing some songs and taking part in storytelling under the oak tree.
This session runs from 10am to 11.30am on Friday 17th November
The session is most suitable for ages 2+ but babes in slings / buggies are welcome too.
All children must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult.
Spaces are free, though spaces are limited. Please book in advance.
When booking please select one space per person (whether adult or child).
This session is taking place outdoors and hand sanitizer will be available. You are kindly asked not to attend if you or any of your household are displaying symptoms of coronavirus.
Equipment will be provided but please wear clothes suitable for getting dirty, and please dress for the weather.
