Referring Students

We take referrals from the Connexions services, Schools, Social Services, Youth Offending Teams and directly from potential Students and their parents or carers.


Our current criteria is as follows:

  • The potential student needs to be 16-19 years old (up to 24 with extended guarantee).
  • They need to live in one of the boroughs served by the Central London Learning and Skills Council.
  • Be at a ‘disadvantage’ in education or the workplace, through: social background, disabilities, learning difficulties, school non-attendance or other.

We are enrolling in three intakes September, October,  places and November.

Referral Route

  • A visit is arranged for the young person, they will be given a tour of the site and have a full explanation of the courses.
  • For interested persons an application form will be supplied and an assessment date set (sometimes this is possible on the visit).
  • We will gather any supporting information needed.
  • A decision will be made as to whether we offer a place following a team discussion.
  • The young person will be informed.

This process normally takes between one and two weeks to complete.
