Moth Night Celebration Event Saturday 13th September
Celebrate the diversity and beauty of moths with an evening of music, food, games and slide shows - as well as the moths themselves.
On Saturday 13th September we will be holding a grand moth night with one of the UK's leading moth experts and joint author of the definitive identification guide to moths, Paul Waring. Paul has also promised us some live music and great chat and we are organising hot food to while away the hours waiting for moths to go into those traps! Children over about 8 are welcome, with accompanying adults, and we will play the bat and moth game again. Stay as late as you like - moths invariably start arriving as visitors are leaving! David will run the Roots and Shoots traps the night before - given good weather - so we also hope to have moths to see that we 'prepared earlier'.
